Been browsing here for quite a while but there was a post about Mike and the overwhelming generosity and all-round good atmosphere on this forum which prompted me to join. Not the only reason though, everyone round here seems pretty cool & knowledgable generally
Which these days is a bit of a rarity on some forums.
21 year old lass (more female bassists needed!) from the UK, been playing for a good few years self-taught, huge fan of The Who & Entwistle, Queen & Cream but recently been getting into Jamerson & Wooten. I play a Ventura Stingray copy (a cheapy but good), still looking for that 'next' bass - a Buzzard perhaps.... If I win the lottery.
If anyone can recommend a good bass for a 5'3" short-arse with equally short, useless fingers, all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I was thinking maybe a 1/2 upright might work?
