Hey, ive been lurking for about a year as a member and even longer as a guest. Just thought I would say hey to all the fellow bass players and introduce myself.

My names Scott,

I have been playing bass for around two years now and love it. There have been a few times where ive neglected my bass for a month or two, but now that I have a drummer to play with im fully dedicated and trying to learn as much as possible.

I started off with an Ibanez starter package, but soon got ride of it for some higher quality gear. I liked Ibanez's skinny and fast necks, and just the overall style and versatility of the brand. I have an amazing SR500. It has a beautiful stained mahogany body and active bartolini pickups. For amplification I have a Fender Bassman 100 combo amp, not the small new one but the "older" model. For my next bass I would love a spector or a musicman sterling

Im only 18 so I have many years of practicing and jamming to improve my skills.

see you on the forums
