Greetings from Western NY (Tonawanda)! I know there are a bunch of guys, and gals from the WNYmusic.com site here, hi folks!
Little about me, just turned 53 years young, play in two or three Classic rock bands around WNY. Fender Jazz bass' are my first choice. Used P-bass's back in the 70's till I found the Holy Grail in 1986, a 1968 candy Apple Red, Painted Headstock, rosewood with block inlays, all original including all chrome pieces! Short story from a long one, found an ad on the wall at the laundymat, said "For Sale Fender Jazz BasE (thats how he spelled it) $150"
I called from the payphone and thought it was all messed up, stopped at the quick bank, went to his house opened the beat up case and "WOW" there she was, threw the money at him and flew out the door with it, and I still have it!!
