I'm not a bass player myself, but I figured this would be a good place to find a bass player for my band!
My band is an up and coming very melodic, epic female-fronted rock band seeking a female bassist who sings alto backup vocals.
You don't have to worry about writing songs, paying for recording or photoshoots, organizing web pages, or seeking management. I will do all of that! All you have to do is learn the songs and rock out. They're very catchy, but with interesting changes.... so as long as you have a feel for rock & can read chord charts, I'm sure you can come up with awesome bass parts & rock with us!

Rehearsals would usually be just once a week in the nyc area. You can learn the songs from mp3s & demos that I make at home, and we can be on the stage in no time. We already built up a decent following with our last bassist, so if you are in the band you'll be playing for a very enthusiastic audience at awesome venues (The Bitter End, Trash Bar etc) in desirable time slots on Saturday nights...
And our first album is almost finished being recorded.. once it's done, I'll be stopping at nothing to find management and book local, and maybe eventually, bigger tours!!
