Hey guys. Yet another new member. Been lurking on the site since may.
I'm on my fifth and final year of university, and am originally from New Orleans.
I picked up drumming in high school, and did that for 5 years. I've been without drums during my later college years though due to space and noise constraints, and the itch was really starting to get to me. So.. earlier this year I decided to try bass on and see if it would do. I am now well addicted.
I bought my first bass in June from a friend of a friend (who I later found out is also a member here.) Its an Ibanez ATK300, and I love it. I'm looking at getting another, lighter bass though, something smooth. The ATK isn't very smooth.
