It took me a while to join, but I found this site so helpful that I thought, Why not?
Anyways I picked up a Samick 5er for 160$ as my first bass last month and I've been playing everyday since.
Having 5 years of guitar experience makes it much easier to learn bass, and being forced into bass by the school band too!
I can't wait to get involved in the bass community, you guys all seem so nice!
