as you can probably tell due to subject title I,m from Detroit. I'm way into peavey t40's, tube lower power tube heads., and the overdrive that results from combining the two. I'm basicly into noisey indie rock (ie: mission of burma, naked raygun, yo la tengo) Detroit baseball, and cooking. Ive been reading these forums for a while and they are probably the most informative basscentric pages on the internet. Mostly I'm just glad to be here

howdy. i'm new here, too. i live in lansing, and like the music you mention, and a lot of other stuff--from old art punk like this heat or savage republic to new indie pop like belle and sebastian or pram to old funk like the meters.

anyway, keep your eyes out for a detroit get together--kjung organized one last week, although i couldn't make it--and maybe we'll meet.
