Hi!

First, i'd like to thank you for having me in this forum. I hope we'll have a great time talking to each other virtually.

My main reason for joining this forum is to seek your advice regarding my grandpa's artia violin. Here are some details about it:

Made by ARTIA (foreign) Instrument model 8414. One of the "Excelsior" range of string instruments. Made for Boosey and Hawkes (london) and Besson and Co. (london)

I'd like to know if you could share any knowledge regarding its history. I'm selling it although I'm still deciding on the price (i'd like to know how much its worth really is first).

I know people like you are interested in this antique musical instrument. It's still in VERY good condition. I can post the pictures here if you want.

I hope i get a positive response from you guys. Thanks for your time!
