Need Help Deciding which Bass :S?!?!

Ernie Ball Musicman SUB bass or Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass?
im not sure which bass to buy!?!?
please help

i usually play soem red hot chili peppers & also play jazz/funk for my school band please hep thanx

My opinion is that both basses sound pretty much the same (both great). The major difference (for me) is that the Fender neck is a bit wider, which I like more... I also think the Fender has a little more punch. I have a Fender P bass, which also has the jazz pickup and I just bought a Fender Jazz 24V that's incredable. It has both active and passive mode and less expensive that the Jazz or P Bass
