New Bass Player =)

So far I'm so thankful to have this forum, before I went and bought my guitar while doing some research and a little practice this site came up under my searches numerous times with great information.

I've only been playing for a day, but been interested in guitars and especially bass the past 2 years. I'm a dedicated player and have practiced around 12 hours already, and can't stop, it's a lot of fun.

I hope that I can become a better player using the help that I'll most certainly need from the community around here. So in advance, I appreciate all that you guys do around here to help me and so many other players!

Style: Punk rock, death metal, and a little dabbling in jazz are my kind of styles.

Bands: Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, just to name a few who I would like to aspire to. I plan on joining and forming a band with a friend within the next year.
