Ello all. I'll introduce myself first. I'm Bigby Wolf, I'm an american currently living in germany. I've been a musician for 9 years now, just starting bass.
I just bought a used bass for 70 euros, and it seems okay. But I wanna makesure. I know that new strings are good but whatelse should I do and check and how? Tips?

Thankyou for reading this if you did..

Yep. The neck would be my first thing. If it's really out of whack, you may want to have a pro look at it. Then make sure the electronics all work (check each knob one at a time) and see if there are any "crackling" noises. If so, try contact cleaner first. Just spray it all over everything (it will dry really quickly). If you have any noise after that, a good check up at a tech shop would be in order. Welcome to the forum!!!!
