New to the forum, and have a question about my P bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey What up low enders,

Maybe some one here can answer my question, I was changing strings, putting on flat wounds on the American Standard P bass and noticed where you put the string through that back of the body the round metal grommet (g string) (the others aren't as high but not flush either) is sticking up and not flush with the body. Will this cause tunning problems, or other problems and how do you get these flush with the body, do they screw into the body, or are they just put into place by shoving them in the hole, never noticed this before.

Thanks,

Ken
