New Georgia Bassist

Hey all,

I am very new to playing bass, I have always enjoyed the sound of the Bass. It took to many years to figure out that I have to play a bass to really enjoy it. I love to hear others play.
So I have a Peavey Mullinium Bass and currently realized after 1 week I need to dump the factory strings. I picked up a small Peavey Amp to boot. It will take me a while to get anywhere near the level where people want to listen. Right now not even my cat will stay and listen.
