Hey, I maybe the first Qatari (or Arab to the geographically challenged) to pick up a Bass.. Thanx to Mr. Terry Butler, Mr. Flea, the deceased Mr. Cliff Burton and especially Mr. Steve Harris.
Started off with a classic guitar, but yeah you can't play the really funky, bluesy stuff on it, so got me a Fender Squier J Bass, then switched to the Ibanez RX470 (I think) and its been 6 months now. Not really in a band, but I do regular jam with 2 buddies of mine |
