Hi, I'm pretty new to this forum, I've been reading off & on a couple of years, but I haven't registered until now.
My name is Rolf, I'm 35 years old and I live in Stavanger, Norway and I've been playing bass and guitar for 21 years (jeez, I'm getting old!).
Right now I'm in 4 bands, an old-school thrash metal band, a goth/metal band, an african dance/groove band with a guy from Gambia and a pop/rock band where I play both bass and guitar, depending on the song.
I'm a gearhead and registered mainly for the tech and luthier forums, I've built (assembled, that is) two of my bass guitars myself and I'm planning on a third
I also like to tinker with electronics and build amps and pedals.

Warmoth neck/Chandler body 8-string w/ EMG PJs
Chandler neck/Custom P-bass w/ SD QP
Fender Jazz fretless w/ EMGs
Trace Elliot 4x10" combo and 4x10" cab
and a well-stocked pedal board
