Hello, fellow bottomfeeders! My name is Moe Monsarrat & I have been a pro bassist since 1969. Before that I was just a singer/frontman. I've played everything from C&W to rock, jazz, R&B & reggae. I currently live in Johnson City, Tx & do most of my work in Austin , San Antonio & Houston, with occasional trips to Europe. I front two bands: Stop The Truck ( original C&W) & The Mau Mau Chaplains (strictly roots reggae). I also play bass in Patsy Thompson's Band & am a session bassist for Brittni Hoover,Texas Tornadoes, Paul Martin ,Smokey Jones, Gary Brown ,Jack Ingram & others too numerous to mention.
My gear list runs like this: Basses- Custom Elrick 5 string, custom Newman Jones 5, Carvin LB75 fretless 5, Modulus Jazz 4, Early 70's Fender P fretless 4, custom Harrower 4, Michael Kelly Dragonfly III 5 fretless. Amps- Carvin R1000 & Mono- Block 800 heads. Cabs- Carvin 4X10, Bag End 1X15, EAW 1X15, Hartke 2X10 & 4X10. |
