New member, building a fretless jazz clone

Hello all. I am a recreational player. I own Fender American standard five string and a American five string Standard deluxe. My amp is an Ampeg BR-100.

I came across this forum when I was looking for a lined, fretless neck for a project four string bass. I think I would lick the look of a maple tele styled head for it.

I just bought a sunburst alder body off of ebay.

Any help would be appreciated.
