Hey there! I'm near WR myself. I just started a few months ago. I have a musical background to build on but it's like building on quicksand in my case. There are a couple of more talkative guys here from this area as well; maybe they'll pipe up.

To ME ALASKA is THE greatest State in ALL USA! No ticks here, no fleas, no snakes, no chiggers, no West Nile Virus. Over 2 times bigger in size than hell hole Texas and only 800,000 in ALL the State. I am a beginner bass player. Nice to meet Ye all. 60 years olde never married aka tamed no kids. To ME doggies make better kids. Once you folks saw the beauty of Alaska you would spit on the South! Later, mon! Crazy Jay

Welcome to TB TheLastRebel! You will have to keep those fingers warm in Alaska while playing on that new bass of yours.
