Hello fellow members,
I started my musical endeavors playing guitar as a teenager. I played bass in a couple teenage bands eons ago, but for the most part consider myself a guitar player (though by no means a professional unfortunately). A friend contacted me and said his band's bass player left and asked if I wanted to play with them. I'm thinking about getting back into bass again, but have no idea where to start as far as getting back into it, so I figured this forum would be a helpful community to be a part of, as I've been a member of a guitar forum for several years and have really enjoyed it.
So hello everybody, I look forward to my time here. Hopefully, with all of the help I get here, I won't be just a 'guitar player that plays bass' but a true bassist.
