Hi everybody,

I'm Joe from Germany. As most bass-related google searches turn up Talkbass results, I thought it might be a great idea to register. BTW, the last item I googled was a black Hipshot replacement bridge for my 4003 Rick. In case anybody wants to get rid of one, or of a black treble PU surround and cover, feel free to PM me

I love the Rick 4003 for its looks, but I love the Musc Man Stingray even more - for its looks and for its sound. Which means it's my main and favourite instrument, and I will never be able to collect enough of them

Guten Habend Joe, this is Will from England having joined today as well. My bass of choice is a 1974 Rick 4003; many others sound great but the neck on my 4003 is so good I haven't found another to beat it. I think they changed the neck shape to a thicker neck at some point and ruined it. Interesting that you like MM; must try one. Next goal for me is a Rick 4080; if it was good enough for Geddy it will be good enough for me. Where are you by the way, I have a nephew in Koln.
