Hello, my name is Brad,
I started playing bass about 30 years ago, rock and blues mostly, in bands all through the '80s. Slowed it way down in '90s to start a family. Now gradually getting back into it, most of my gear has become vintage, but thats o.k. so have I.
This year I started a project to clone a P/J bass from an old Fender neck, still looking forward to completion. And after deciding to test the 5 string waters, I bought a used MIM Jazz V. I also picked up a new Ampeg 610hlf cab this year, it's powered by an older SVT head. Sounds awsome IMO.
Some of my favorite artists/bands are AC/DC, Cream, Hendrix, Sabath, SRV, The Who, Yes and ZZ Top.
