Hello. My name is Joel and I'm a new member after lurking a little.
I have been a bassist for around 30+ years. I have been involved in a wide variety of music of which the last decade or so has been roots music in one form or another. After 14 years working with a regional 50's and 60's artist I have been heavily involved in the blues and other R&B music, doing originals and covers. I am also active in my local church music ministry,playing primarily contemporary christian music.
For the last 20 years my primary axe has been a pre-CBS '57 re-issue P-bass. My gear has changed quite a lot over the years but I keep gravitating back to Gallien-Krueger amps of one kind or another. I currently use an RB 1001 II in a 115 format.
I have already benefitted from the wealth of knowledge on this list and look forward to being a part of this community.
