Hey everyone. So glad to post here and be a part of this community. Quick bio - I've sang professionally for 30 years (started out as a singing drummer ala Henley, Collins, etc.), and turned 50 last year. I'd been fiddling around on bass for a while, but decided to get serious when I turned 50. So, I'm currently gigging with my "first call" band as lead singer, but am now playing bass and singing lead in a three piece I put together (B, G, D) this year. It's TERRIFYING, but so amazing and exhilarating. I'll say I'm no longer on cruise control when doing THOSE gigs! Anyway, I'm DEFINITELY a novice, but I love the challenge and really enjoy bass playing.
So, I'll be the guy asking all the dumb novice/noob bass questions, so please be merciful!
