Howdy,
I ran across this forum, from of all places the Steel guitar forum, and so here I am.
I've been playing music for about 44 years now and playin bass for 40 of those years. I cut my teeth in the beer joints, then lost them ?, then had the chance to go on the road, and took it, and then went in to the studio and found that I wasn't the best musician, like I had always thought ?.
I had the chance to work with some of the " Big " names in country music and I loved it.
I retired here to the Ozarks around 1988, but I have tried to stay kinda active around the business. I work with a little 3 piece Hard-core country band, once in a while and I play at church about 3 times a week.
I " broke down " in my body over the years, so now I've had to file for S.S. disability ( and it's a night mare ), therefore I have had to re-adjust about everything when it comes to playing.
I guess if you live and play hard, you eventually have to pay for it, and now I'm paying for it.
