Hello All,
My name is Roland Guerin. I'm a new member of Talk bass. I just want to kind of introduce myself and get to know the folks here. I'm a bassist, songwriter and producer. I've been on the jazz scene playing with Marcus Roberts and others for over 28 years. I play upright and electric and love them both. They each have their own voice. At home I use the FireStudio Project for all of my work. My range of work covers writing music for Nerjyzed ( a entertainment and video game company ), doing remote bass recording via the internet, recording full jazz bands, producing vocalist and bands and recording my own music as well. The sound that I get out of the FSP is top notch! It's very open and warm sounding and it alows for me to get right to work without worrying about it. I don't even think about most of the time, I just turn everything on and start working. That's how I like it! Well that's a little about me and I hope to meet and take part in some very helpful and hip things here. Take care.
