Hi there,

I've just joined as a member of this site, so I hope this is the right place to introduce myself.

I've been playing the bass guitar for 7 years now, four of them studing with a great local bass teacher, and playing in a jazz band in a local music school.

Before that I played the guitar since I was eighteen so that helped me to learn to play the bass quicker, but at the same time I discover how different are both instruments, despite their appearance.

I hope to learn a lot here and obviously help other people whenever I can.

Kind Regards from Spain!

Welcome. It's good to have you join our tight, little community. My wife is from Asturias. We hope to go visit this summer. I can't wait to visit your beautiful country. There are a few regulars here from Spain.

The HB bass that I bought (without talking about it's quality) has given me great joy, and I find it very relaxing to play bass, although I have no intention of playing in a band (maybe this will change, who knows!) I would like to actually start practising much more, basically so my hands do what my brain thinks they are doing!
