Hello all! I've been on an 8 year hiatus from playing bass because of my sound company. I've sold off most of my sound gear and now I'd rather spend my weekends playing bass instead of mixing! Right now I've got a GK800RB/Eden 210 XLT, Peavey Cirrus 5 Walnut/Maple, original series from 10 years ago. I'm very excited to get back into playing. I've spent the past few weeks getting my hands in shape, now I have to tune my ears up a little to sync with my hands. This is a great forum with loads of info and hopefully I can pass off my experiences from my hundreds of gigs as a sound engineer, NOT sound GUY, to the next in line!
I love jam bands and original music. I am all about playing with feel and that's what got me the gigs. So, I'm looking forward to talking and sharing with all the others on this forum.

Hi Paulie_m. Are you a sound engineer associated with a venue or with a particular band?
