| | | | Hi everyone-Im new here from CT and new to bass playing. but have played metal guitar for a while. I play a mixture of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden< Black sabbath, Scorpions etc. I'm a pretty good guitar player-not great, but could hold my own. I always wanted to play bass and just got one and learned a few songs. I really enjoyed it -a nice change from guitar.-I'm using a pick now but I'd appreicate any advice from anyone here.

BTW
I bought my first bass while in the Navy (G&L L5500 1995) and have been addicted since. My job doesn't allow me the time to play out live (I am on call 24/7) but I love getting together on weekends to have jams with friends.
