New person on the thing.. Female double bassist from Iceland

Hello!

My name is Sigurbjörg, I'm 20 years old and I live in Reykjavík, Iceland. I've been playing electric bass since around 2001, and started on double bass in the fall of 2007 and since there has been no return!!

I don't really listen to jazz, but I love playing it, and I like it live. I'm into klezmer and balkan music a lot. But I think my absolute favourite genres of music would be funk and industrial.

I've been listening to various types of music and playing various instruments since I can remember.

Anyway, today I got bored and was googling for double bass things and stumbled upon this thing So hello!
