Newbie to board and bass

Hi All,

I am new to both Talk Bass and to the bass. I just bought a Epiphone Les Paul and am enjoying playing so far.

I have been into music most of my 40 years on this planet. I have played (not well) the guitar (electric and acoustic), trumpet, drums and piano in the past, but have only "noodled" around on the bass briefly before taking the plunge.

I look forward to getting some wisdom/advice from you all.
