Hi there!

Welcome. I'm sure you will have fun - everyone is friendly. Just do a search before asking a question in the forums - chances are the question ma have been asked before, and some of the members get crazy if you don't search!

Have fun!

Welcome to TalkBass John.

There is a place here for new members to introduce themselves:
TalkBass Forums > TalkBass Lounge > Welcome Forum - New Member Intros

But there isn't much response there. There isn't exactly a welcoming commity to greet new members.

Jump right in and post in the threads you can contribute to, or start a thread if you happen to have a specific question.

Read all the FAQs, forum rules, tips...
They are not long and boring but to the point.

And do some reasearch first, a lot of information, ideas and experiences have gone through these forums.
At the risk of starting a thread and people start flaming that the issue has been brought up so many times.

The search function helps you find specific information.
Be careful not to revive a thread that is too old. Some people here hate that.
You have to be like a most of the times.

Other than that most members here are cool and helpful, we are carefully moderated... I guess.

Oh yeah, and be sure to fill in you public profile. That always help for people to understand who you are, where you coming from and where you want to go.

Welcome, enjoy.

Eh, a moderator moved the thread.

"Stand perfectly still... maybe they don't see us."
