Hello folks. I'm not sure I can truly call myself a "bass player" but that is the role in which I have recently found myself. I've played guitar and drums for nearly 40 years and dabbled with the bass from time to time. However, I have found a place of service as a bassist with our contemporary service at church and I am really enjoying the opportunity to do more than "dabble." I play drums there sometimes too but rarely get time to even pick up a 6 string anymore. I'm really looking for opportunities to learn and I've already found interesting bits of knowledge on this forum so I thought I'd jump in, though I doubt I can contribute a lot. Glad to be here! |
