newbie needs new bass

Hi all, new to the forum. Getting back to playing bass.
I have an Ibanez sr405 5 string and an ampeg svt3pro with
4-10 cab. I am looking for a fender p-bass. Found one
that it's a MIM with semore pickups and badass bridge.
It this a good deal or should I stick with stock p bass.
I really don't know much about gear, but I played
a p bass in the store and sounded really sweet.

Hey Carlos- welcome to TB. The mods you've mentioned won't likely alter the bass' tone too much. I think everyone should have or at least try a Precision- they work so well for so many situations.
