I too am one of those guys back from a long break. Back then, since I thought my playing days were over, I decided that I needed the money more than I needed the gear, so?...
So lately I've been gaga googeling, reading up looking to buy new gear and eventually came across TalkBbass. I love this place. I've been visiting TB for a while now and I apologize for taking so long to register. But I've been too busy reading all the posts and looking at all the pictures of those really fine basses and amps. There's some really awesome stuff out there and I partly blame this forum for spending more money than I should have. I didnt need 2 basses to start with!

I Brand new Lakland Skyline Glaub 4 -3 tone sun burst/tort - very limited choice of colors
1 brand new Ampeg BA500 combo - sweet
1 brand new Ampeg 1x15 classic ext. cab - very sweet
I must say I've learned a lot on here on Talkbass. I've learned that the quest for tone and groove is never ending and I've learned that I'm not the only one with a loud dominant guitarist and drummer in their band.
