Newbie says hi.....

Hey Talkbassers.Tho this is my first post,I have been getting great info (and laughs) here for about a year and a half.

I am a semi-pro blues/RnB/funk/soul player with some experiance in other genres.I play mostly Fender or Fender related instruments,tho I like all basses.
I have been semi-pro for about the past fifteen years and have 29 years total experiance on bass.Tuba player in Jr. high and highschool.Stopped playing tuba my Jr. year and picked up bass.Cant sing with a tuba.......

I will be posting pix of some fairly interesting basses ( purple glitter fretless '79 FrankenJazz:what was I on?)) in various threads once we get things settled again.My pix were stolen when my computer was stolen along with two of my most cherished basses.

A friend of mine posted about the stolen basses in the Stolen Equipment thread last month and I will most likely be bumping that with more info soon.

I am looking forward to learning more about the great instrument we play and to laughing at the wonderful insanitythat is/can be Talkbass!
