Hi! this is my first post.
I'm about to start playing the bass and I've been doing some research on what bass to buy. A friend that plays give me lots of tips to look for a good bass to start and, since is the first one, a bass to be proud of forever.
I was almost there in get one, the Ibanez SRT670:

but, I found this site. I was reading a lot of posts about get first basses and stuff, about Ibanez new SRT series... This model, the SRT670, is just available in Japan. It cost around $ 650. The things that I like about it is the Bartolini picks up and the neck-thru body construction.
I'd like some advise about it and if someone can post coments, pictures, sounds or videos.
