Greetings. I have been a long time lurker, and recently a new member. Played a little in high school and the Navy. After that, got into work and left the bass behind. 26 years later, my interest is back. Bought a Fender MIM Jazz, Fender Practice Amp, and will be starting lessons soon.
I really enjoy this forum. Lot's of interesting perspectives, and people. Love to see the workmanship in the builders forum. My goal is to build a Carvin BK4A after I get the fundamentals down and can carry my own. Until then, the MIM Jazz will be more than enough I can tell.
TalkBass is a great site. Although, I find myself checking in when I should be working!
