| | | | Hi Catherine,
That's wonderful...how long have you been playing? Why did you decide on the bass?
(I used to play an upright as a kid/teenager and just bought a fretless electric to get back into the groove....) |

| | | | Hey!
I just joined this site. I've been playing electric bass for two years and recently started to learn the upright.
Nice to meet you |

She posts regularly and may be able to give some other female TB members user names.
Good luck.
P.S. Check out the link in my sig. Lots of good info there.

| | | | Hi Lady Karyi,
Read your profile and I, like you, am beginning to study bass after not playing any instruments in over 30 years...I played upright as a kid, studied piano, took a few banjo lessons (wasn't my calling....). I bought Squirer Fretless last month and am practicing scales and playing along to Muddy Waters...
I appreciate your reply... |

I play almost all gospel music(as I am really a keyboardist, but I have so much fun playing bass, I messed around and got good at it. lol) |
