Hey everyone,
I live in Ottawa as a College Student, and I've been involved with music for a few years now. I started out as a rhythm guitarist (and still play to this day) but out of curiosity, I turned my sites to Bass guitar just recently. It was originally John Deacon, the Bassist of Queen, who turned me on to the instrument, and Duff McKaggan of Guns N Roses who sealed the deal. To this day, those two bassists remain my idols. Thanks to my previous experience with guitar, I was able to pick up the bass and hold my own, and I'm getting better and better every day. I joined this forum for two main reasons; one, to have fellow bassists give me tips on how to tighten up my playing; the second reason is simply having a place to just talk about music in general. I hope I can meet some interesting fellow bassists here, and give back as much as I receive from these forums. Thats about all for now; thanks for reading!
