Recently got a Grind (5 Sting), great, actually awsome, woodwork but looking to optimize tonality with possibly Barts and an EQ package but not sure if they will fit. Also looking at replacing the hollow plastic nut with solid graphite, heard that brass was not the way to go. And thinkin to go single piece solid brass with the bridge or perhaps use Hipshot Triple Lock singles to replace the existing singles with perhaps later going to piezo's. Anyone have any experience in getting the most tonality out of one of these exceptionally well crafted but seemingly "under hardwared" basses?
