This is Dan from Queens. Moved down here with some friends from school. My roommate gave me his bass guitar and amp in March and I've been teaching myself since. I've come a long way, but I'm probably gonna need to take some lessons because I'm plateauing. Playing the bass guitar has probably been the greatest thing to happen to me this year and I want to pursue this instrument much further. I can not read music, I don't know the notes on the guitar. All I know is that I hear a song, I mess around on the bass for a bit and 3 minutes later I can play it.
