I always loved the sound of bass in all the music I enjoy. I am attracted to bands with a unique bass & that always was something that stands out to me. I had a very shabby drum set that I banged on for awhile, but I want to learn the Bass. I love the deep sound & the timing of the instrument that brings songs together.
I have stumbled into some free time & I want to start learning the bass. I am willing to learn to read music & hope I can find some books on that at my library or online maybe. I am looking for someone to point me in the direction of a bass that is in the 200$ range or less, but isn't a complete junker. Just a model & then I will try to find one on craigslist. One that I can learn on & doesn't sound too terrible. If you can help me out, it would be very appreciated.
