Hello all,
Just dropping a note to say hello! I've been lurking for a month or so now. I had been noodling on guitar for a few years. A few weeks before Christmas, our worship leader at church asked if I could play bass. I gave it a shot and played with the church band on Sunday after borrowing a 6 string Ibanez on Thursday!
I was immediately hooked. He called me again the next Saturday. The bass player for that week and backed out on him and he was in a bind. I picked up that same 6 stringer and played the next day!
Well, I got the bug really bad! I bought a Peavey Millenium BXP the day after Christmas and have played every week since at church. I've even gotten together with a few people from Craigslist! I'm in the market for my own amp now so I won't have to keep practicing on my guitar amp.
