Relative Newcomer Says Hello

Hi All,

I have played bass for about 1 1/2 yrs now. No formal training (yet), just noodling around at home. I have a (pretty well made) Mexi P-Bass and a (pretty poorly made) A35 Hartke kick-back cabinet for practice. Everything is stock.

I have experience with piano and some guitar, so I am not just starting on music.
At the ripe old age of 46 (then) I decided that since the bass lines I was doing with my keyboard on my recordings actually ususally 'swung' somewhat, I decided to hop in and get the real thing. So far I love it.
I look forward to learning from all of you and to contribute if I can.
I have already learned to complain about my lack of tone, so I guess I am on the right track...

Best,
CC.
