Howdy all!
Not much of a bass or guitar player, but have plucked some strings in the past. Recently got some renewed interest in bass and want to play again, specifically with an acoustic. Plus, some friends who regularly jam have been getting on my case for not participating around the campfire.
I have an electric bass with practice amp (GTX beginner combo purchased about 13 years ago) and an acoustic guitar. Took a class in college and stopped playing just as my fingers stopped hurting (I know, was just getting over the hard part). Was involved with music as a youngster and have always been drawn to the bass (baritone horn, which played along with the tenor sax...probably why I dig the bass).
Anyways...found this forum while looking up info on acoustic bass choices. Now I'm off to find the right forum to ask a question or three...
