I play exclusively shortscale basses with a pick and I use roundwound strings (which makes all my jazz friends crazy).
I have a bass collection that includes a vintage Hofner (which I played way way too much for), a couple Danelectros, Jerry Jones Longhorns, Musicvox Spaceranger......etc
I'm looking at a couple ss basses and wanted to get reviews from fellow shortscale players about things like the Fender Mustang reissue, the Gretsch Electrotone and Broadkasters models and any other pro shortscale basses out there that I don't know about. is anybody out there ?
