i joined not too long ago... i've been reading and lurking for a few weeks
i just got my bass back saturday from the local GC got new strings and basic setup done... i can't believe i played it like that for 3 weeks..... some stuff i was having difficulty with is now somehow easier...
i love the flatwound sound even if its on a metal looking bass..
i played standup in jr high got an electric bass in high school... and ending up giving it away to the school a couple years later so they'd have a bass for the school.
it's been probably 8 years since i played... im picking it back up... figure my birthday ... i get to get something new!!!
