Hello everyone...am anxious to learn the bass, but it would be just for me. How does the bass stack up as a solo instrument? Thanks.

Hi and welcome to TalkBass. Not sure I understand your question but the bass is an extremely versatile instrument. Ever hear any of Victor Wooten's solo compositions? In today's world that bass is more than just bottom end.
