'Just converted to being a bassist for the 2nd time in my life.
The first time was because I couldn't find/start a band as a guitarist in my area. That was ~3+ years ago. Then after a few months, one of my closest friends convinced me to switch back.
Fast forward: A few weeks ago, another one of my friends had to let their bassist go. I decided to try out and was welcomed in on my 4th audition
I sold my guitar head, cashed in some vacation, bought a Peavey Firebass 700 w/matching 8x10, an MXR DI, and tuner over this weekend.
