Hi everyone,

I am a retired Sydney Symphony Orchestra player now active as a freelance player, teacher and music examiner.

At 5 feet 7 inches I feel too short for a fingered low-C extension (with or without capos) and am looking for new ideas for a keyed extension.

What do you mean by different ideas? Are you not happy with the current keyed options? What about a five string? I can give you plenty of ideas for mechanical things if you like...
